Locations of Scholarly Presses
This spreadsheet contains the cities and countries of (at present count) over fifty scholarly presses – useful for when you’re doing last-stage revisions of footnotes and bibliographies! I started it sort of as a joke in response to a tweet about obscure press locations, but it seems to fill a need. It is crowdsourced, primarily via Twitter.
On this page, you’ll find a download link for an Excel spreadsheet, a table of the entries as of May 3, 2021, and a link to the live Google Doc where you can add or edit. I will periodically update this page to match the live version.
